This is probably a error or something but found myself perusing the always excellent swindon-town-fc.co.uk site and stumbled upon this which suggests that Digby came on as a 75th minute sub for Andy Mutch.

The match caught my eye in the wider stats as it appears to be Digby's only ever appearance off the bench for Town and equally caught my eye as there appears to have been no red card to require him to come on and no suggestion that Hammond came off?

Any ideas, I must confess my knowledge of 1994 Anglo Italian games is a bit sketchy?

It mentions in the description on your link that Digby came on in goal, with Hammond going outfield:

One of the few highlights of the Anglo-Italian Cup (if not on the pitch...), the Town squad enjoy a trip to Venice - where bizarrely, Nicky Hammond comes out of goal to play as a makeshift striker in a 1-0 defeat.

If you watch the video Hammond plays 75 minutes in net, but then for whatever reason (presumably just for a piss take really) Digby replaces Mutch and goes in goal and Hammond plays the last 15 minutes up front. Pretty odd goings on.

Just watched the video, Christ that was a blast from the past from Central South with Tim Russon doing the voice over (I went to school with his lad), setting aside the strange keeping substitution shenanigans, why were our keepers wearing tracky b's in Italy in August? Artificial pitch?

Dangerous play- if one of us tries it, a defenders foot might get damaged. if one of them tries it, one of our defenders might kick them in the head.

I remember Macca bringing on Mildenhall as a striker.
