After the Lord Mayor's show... As someone said, our defence has used up its fair share of luck for the season, but even League Two teams don't let you get away with that little organisation in the first half.

One or two individual performances on show tonight, but not a team.

McKirdy and Lyden for me.  They performed with energy and effect in both halves and I'd give it to McKirdy as he gave support but received little from any teammates.

Iandolo (goal) and Hunt really stepped up second half, as did O'Brien (assist) and only one of the 2 CBs.

Difficult pitch, Payne being missed but bottom line a rather raw Mansfield wanted it more - as shown by the tackle success stats.

Lyden the only real contender although Reed had a decent second half

Iandolo edged it for me - could have easily gone to Lyden or Hunt but the goal was the decider.

Yes, that's what I thought. I always find blind loyalty votes a bit annoying, but hey ho, that's democracy for you.

Yep, I went for Lyden but those were the three for me. After five years at the club, is Ellis beginning to develop an eye for goal? Good for him.

If Lyden could stay fit I think he could do a job at Champ or even Prem level. So good, but also so frustrating how broken he is most of the time. I guess that is the reason he is at this level.

Poor performance all around.

Lyden perhaps
McKirdy tried and scored a nice goal
Iandolo tried hard, stayed on his feet in the area and scored a good goal.

Surprised McKirdy hasn’t got more votes. Was our stand out by a long way for me. Bright and inventive and deserves a better striker up there with him

Defo Mckirds for his goal and work-rate. Should have scored second half from 6 yards out after being played through by JML. Plus, well done Harry for not reacting to home fans who literally were running down to the front of stands to scream abuse at you.

Yeah Lyden.
A mention in despatches for Iandolo, McKirdy & Hunt.

I guess that a PR voting system is beyond the technology of a TEF poll. Smiley
