The locals do like a dodgy Christmas jumper.
Not sure if it's just standard attire that they wear all year round up here.

With some of our fans, its only a matter of time.

I see the Barrow fans seem to think of us as being moaning southern softies!

Quote
Genuine chance their club will be awarding the 500+ away fans a “completed Barrow away” medal today the way they keep waffling on about it being so far

People are being very disrespectful to the good folk of Swindon.
You must remember how traumatic it can be for southern folk, leaving their sheltered milieu with ready sliced halloumi, draught polenta and gold-plated couscous all readily available without their butlers having to lift a finger, as they reach the M5 and the prospect of a day in The North hits home, a place where the unwashed and unintelligible locals stare unashamedly at them as they walk along the high street, full of tripe shops, mushy pea parlours and braces boutiques, wearing their ermine and velvet in club colours.
Be kind. Take pity.

You ever been to Swindon Hadrian? It’s actually more Slough than Tunbridge Wells. They definitely eat their sandwiches with the crusts on.

So, is it Gladwin or Williams to start today? Or a sneaky Lyden.

In all fairness to them I had a bit of that from a female programme seller at Carlisle about six years or so ago. Maybe remind them if it wasn’t for Stone Henge they’d never know the time of year.

Personally I think Williams offers us more going forwards than Galdwin. It seems eveident that Williams, Payne and Gladwin just don't work together but any combo of the 2 seem to work better.

Gladwin had a poor game on Tuesday, I would like to see Lyden given game time but then I would like Grant given some too but thats obvious it wont happen under Garners management.
