Seen a mixed response to this statement on Twitter. Personally, I'm not sure what the Trust can do other than advise the club of the supporters' wishes and express their own view that a price freeze would be the correct course of action. Aside from organising a boycott of course...

They had to say something, but it’s clear their hands are tied and the club had made their mind up regardless of the strong feedback given.

To us, our club is more than a business BUT, at the end of the day, a business is what it is.

Sadly, the man who has stepped up, put his hand in his pocket and saved our club from a predecessor who seems to have been intent on running us into the ground in a fit of pique, needs to operate as a business and take this opportunity to maximise revenue.

Is it going to hurt some of us? Yes it is but Clem and Rob have worked wonders to get us where we are. Let them make the hard calls and do what they need to to ensure our ongoing progress. If I can afford to pay the additional money to buy tickets I will. If I can't I won't but will watch it on ITV instead.

Exactly.  And this is why some of the massive over reaction on Twitter and other places needs to be put into context.  Agree or not agree, the outrage is some places is embarrassing.

tbf, making it clear you disagree with the clubs stance is not outrage, which is what you have done, which is fair enough.

Saw that!  Cheesy

I would suggest that you were clearly not outraged, more disappointed with the clubs behaviour Wink
