I’m good with the clubs reasoning around pricing, allocation etc.
They are bending over backwards to explain. Imagine this game with Power still in control !
Hope we can see it COVID permitting.

Now some may face the possibility of not watching their club play one of the greatest English sides of all time. That doesn't sit right with me at all.
But they can, live on ITV.

Has the FA Cup game gone on sale to ST holders? Any news if there’ll be any release for us casual fans?

If you think you’ll want a refund I’d suggest paying on a credit card as you’re more likely to get a refund that way as I doubt it will be returned by the club anytime soon.

This scenario is where things get a bit daft as at normal prices you are more likely to get people donating to the club if it is behind closed doors, now will the loss of goodwill and sympathy from many the number willing to do that is likely far reduced. Surely they factored this risk in?

I'd of easily paid up to £50 for this fixture, but that's not the point. This isn't about me.

There's going to be families of ST holders who simply can't afford a 50% increase across the board. Especially around xmas time.

People who waived ST refunds, bought 3 kits, travelled in numbers all over the country to support their team. Renew every year without fail and would've continued to support the club where needed in the future.

Now some may face the possibility of not watching their club play one of the greatest English sides of all time. That doesn't sit right with me at all.

Well, I understand your concern, however, the Man Citeh fans will on this occasion just have to suck it up buttercup.

🤣🤣🤣

Just seen the announcement, as a 6 game holder will hopefully get one. For casuals like me I think £35 is absolutely fine for a one off. ST holders may have their own thoughts I guess. Last time we played in L1 we whored out out two stands for cash I believe? 1999?
Hopefully we can correct the wrong of Fjortoft’s disallowed second goal at Maine Road. I’m convinced we’d have stayed up had that counted.

£35! Absolute shambles, so much for ‘having our club back’. Fans just being exploited. I assume the Trust will be up in arms against this?! Thought not!

im majority satisfied. i appreciated the thought process and time they spent on reasoning the costs- it is better in the long run to get this debt knocked out as quick as we can. I would have different views (but still have gone) under power. but just like season ticket money I am more than happy that its going to the club and its accountable.

Im excited by the tie still- its the cup, city have a tight group of players and this will be the bottom of there priorities over a tiring xmas period. once every 12 years id pay anything for it for that what if moment. i understand over peoples circumstances but this isn't a regular event

vague rumours of 5th/6th lockdowns would just sum up swindon towns history in a way...

Just watched the Clem/Rob Angus video and was impressed with their honesty about the game. Fair play to all you ST holders who didn’t ask for a refund. Legends. On this note, I was at York City the other day and they have a ‘wall of honour’ in their new ground with a list of names of all those who didn’t want ST refunds. Same in the Legends Lounge?
