Whats the away capacity now?

900 in Arkells
Huh?? in Stratton Bank?

I thought away capacity on the bank was no more than 1400 and around 800 in the Arkells with full capacity around 14,400

It was definitely rovers.

Yep, 1990 as well.
I hope that the Town End was fumigated before home fans were allowed in again.

Was always 1200 in Arkells and 2100 in the wet. Lots have seats have been lifted, our capacity isn't the 15,725 seen on various sites. Nearer 14,500 with the gaps.

Ta both

City in 1990 wasn't it?
Junior Bent with the only goal and celebrity fan Baldrick locked out.

It hurts watching them celebrating😂

The club better invest in some decent covers to protect the pitch in case the weather is bad in January

My boss has just been and bought 3 half season tickets, and was told the following with regards to Man City tickets.

Season ticket holders/Half season ticket holders - 1 ticket each
The tickets will then go on sale based on the points system, and people who attend both the Walsall and Stevenage games.
Then general sale.

That is superb marketing from the club.
I have heard this Morning a fair few new half season tickets have been sold.
Glad it’s one ticket per season ticket holder this way hopefully the real Supporters can get a bette4 chance of getting an option.

From the website

Record receipts:
£149,371 v Bolton Wanderers
Coca-Cola Cup semi-final 1st leg, 12 February 1995

I would imagine we will be on track to probably double that won't we! FWIW crowd was 15,341 on that day.

That’s only a tenner per fan. We’d have got more from that Exeter game under Wellens and surely the Chelsea game was a sell out.

Watched the FA cup draw from the Sun Inn at Coate and have to admit thats a great draw, even if we get stuff like Newport did against them a few years back it doesnt matter.

The game SHOULD be on terrestrial TV so we will have probably £350k gate reciepts, TV money, extra in ground advertising, extra merchandise sales and increased interest from the football world too, have to be worth more than £500k to the club if not considerably more.

The capacity is close to 15,000 rather than the 15,728 advertised.

That receipts record was smashed a few years back for the Chelsea LC game in 2013 when we had 14,924 (3,433 away).

I don't think we've produced detailed enough financials to give away gate receipts since the Bolton game - during that period we produced some pretty detailed accounts for a small business, likely in reaction to the 1990 issue.

There was a period where the Town End was dedicated to Away fans, during construction I think.  I also think Sunderland got both ends one season when they were going for promotion, around the same time as the Man City venture I suppose.  Our record against City is pretty shocking, I imagine we won't be changing that trend here.

I remember the same happening vs Portsmouth.  Giving their fans both ends was galling.  They created all the atmosphere in the ground.  Never again, hopefully.

Last game of the 97/98 season I think. There was a crash on the M4 and I didn't make the game. Listened to the 0-2? loss on the radio.

Attendance was 14,924 so even at £20 a pop that’s £300,000 gate receipts. No idea on the TV money, though.
