I know they have attracted a new fanbase in recent years, but they've always been a local team to a degree, and still cling to that fact when comparing themselves to Man Utd.

The amount of fans they have attracted in recent years is pretty minimal really, it’s quite refreshing actually.

On the flip side they get the piss taken as they don’t always fill the ground due to low amount of gloryhunters.

While quite a few people are going full meltdown why they should be entitled to tickets it’s a great business opportunity for the club by making general ticket sales available to fans who buy tickets to the next 2 home games. Yes I’m fully aware that won’t sit well with those who went to Walsall etc but the chance to have much needed revenue to help clear debts and fund the January transfer window.

Wonder whether we’ll get some Jed style advertising boards that are brighter than the sun?

Quick guesstimate of the value of this game - £350,000. Very nice, too.

Not sure of the TV money but I guessed £100,000.

Weeks wages for one of their players…

Imagine being a Walsall fan this morning. Equally I bet their chairman’s hand is still hovering over his phone ready to go nuclear at Taylor.

Didn’t Citeh get a sweetheart deal for their ground after it was used for the Commonwealth Games? Or am I thinking of Wet Spam?, maybe both?

They did. And their underachieving neighbours don’t let them forget it.

I’m presuming the team they’re likely to put out would be similar to when they played the piss stains.

Obviously be good enough to give us a spanking but hopefully not a tonking.

At least they won’t come here and park the bus like everybody else. May be more like an away game, hopefully.

Interesting that they feel strongly enough about it to create a thread but couldn't be arsed to turn out for a round 2 game

There does seem to be a lot of "I am a better fan" dickwaving and opinions of who should or shouldn't be entitled to tickets online. Pathetic

big game, people desperately want to go. It's that simple.

season ticket holders will be ok, which is fair enough..

for others, it's not like we haven't had 'keep your ticket stubs' type situations for other big games in the past
