Garner did say after yesterday's game that with the Baurdry injury unknown he would be addressing the situation again.

Bugger. Hope the Mrs don’t find out or I’ll be dragged out Christmas shopping. Might just have to put town shirt on and head off for a pre match pint and try to wing it.

Sensible decision - glad that decision take on football grounds.
Shame in some ways - Crawley had been on a poor run in the league.
Good chance to rest those in need of a break / carrying any niggling injuries, plus hopefully get Critchlow and / or Baudry fit again by the following week.

With Crichlow and Baudry knacked and KKH away we just don't have enough cover so postponing makes a lot of sense.

Absolutely mate. Stupid to consider playing it as soon as Baudry took a knock. Wasnt McKirdy out with a suspension too for that game if it was plyed?

I had forgotten about McKirdy, which is ironic as he is a walking yellow card. In the first half at Crewe he was in the lino's ear from 1-45. Amazed he didn't get booked for gobbing off, especially as I think Trevor Kettle warned him to watch his lip.
