I have nearly zero interest in golf generally, but always get into the Ryder Cup.

Spain carrying Europe at the moment in the opening foursomes: Rahm and Garcia up, Poulter & McIlroy getting a pasting from a USA team picked as it's a rhyming couplet and the other two games leaning USA but not irretrievable yet.

I like golf but never watch it, other than the Ryder Cup.
I'm delighted sky's youtube channel are showing live pairings (Rahm/Sergio atm).

Sergio getting booed for sinking a mega-putt was pretty lame

The Sky coverage has been so disjointed during the four balls. There are only four matches, surely there are enough cameras to cover just 4 games. Or are the Americans only showing the games where they are winning? Which is most tbf.
In the Fleetwood match just one shot was shown in over an hour...

And yes, American fans are largely pricks.

Put a bet on beforehand which is looking likely now, thought it would be comfortable US win and today hasn't changed that thinking. The US team is just too good. Be very happy to be proved wrong though.

The US team is pretty much always stronger on paper, but Europe’s main advantage over the years has been their team spirit, combined with the Americans ability to fall out with each other (especially Phil & Tiger).

I thought the Koepka/DeChambeau might derail them, but they have managed to put aside their differences.

I have a feeling that after it’s finished there may be a few European voices questioning the Lowry over Rose pick

All going a bit Faldo so far. Europe need a clean sweep evening or it's more or less over.

The teams were a bit of a mismatch on paper but the team element of it meant I thought it could be close. Not a surprising scoreline at all based on ability

Europe getting a full on pasting in the singles, records about to be broken unless things change very quickly.
