A shame to see Garner risking senior plays for this competition.

Kevin Betsy was a little fella, used to play for Charlton right?  Soccerbase says that Steve Bould is the manager

Nah Betsy was a bit of lanky winger type. Think you're thinking of Kevin Lisbie.

I think it shows Garner wants to win the game no matter what competition it is.

I think it is more about getting more minutes into them, and Arsenal do not look likely to commit a lot of nasty fouls.  Another pre-season game for them.

We were worrying that the team never had a pre-season. Don't see why he shouldn't take this opportunity to give everyone some minutes.

Will have to look closely, Conroy headed it almost in but it was deflected a bit but Dabre turned away like he got the last touch, probably just exuberance by him.
