Stevenage, although they have conceded 4 goals in3 games and they only have kept 1 clean sheet so far will be a tough game at their place. We have played them at Stevenage 5 times and only won 2 of them and they have won 3 so we need to even the score! the last 5 games at the Lamex have ended 0-2, 1-0, 2-5, 0-2 and 4-0 (Town score first). |

Bob - I think I went to that game, as was working in London at the time. Weekday evening game, right? You are 100%, it was beyond shite, hoof, head, hoof, head, hoof out of play. Repeat for 90 minutes. Most notable thing that happened all night was I had to run to get a the special 'football bus' back to the station, which left just before most of the crowd could catch it. wtf. I have seen both our wins there, 1-0 in awful conditions & a terrible game a few weeks after we had lost there in the cup, and the 4-0 when a young Miles Storey was among the goal scorers.
Good news, we’re going down today.
PS no need to mention we also went to two of the defeats

Yeah, it was Tuesday night. This is the first league visit here on a Saturday since the 4-0 win. I've wiped the 5-2 cup game from memory. No not Jonathan Smith. |
