Try booking individual train journeys if you have changes, that is to say if you need 2 changes try booking the individual legs of the journey instead of making just one booking.  I know my dad has had success with this in the past.

I know historically if you book trains from Swindon to London if you split them at Didcot there were savings to be had.

Two seperate rail operators are both £71 Paddington, Tube, Kings Cross, Stevenage around 2hrs 15m.
It may be worth trying to from Didcot as Bob has stated otherwise that looks the cheapest you will get.

Thanks all. Not really one for getting trains, usually drive but fancied a drink for this one! Using Trainline have managed to get to around £45ish, that’s with a group saver added however.

What’s the best website to use for train travel? The normal ones just seem extortionately expensive

They have Norris, Jake Reeves, Scott Cuthbert and Brad Barry and are managed by Alex Revell. Lots of Town ties there.

At 37 he could have been the experienced centre forward we were looking for😀 Scored a cracking goal for us away at Brentford I remember.

He was a decent target man, not grabbed many goals but always managed to score against us!

9 goals in 13 games!

As a manager hes got a win ratio of just 27% from his first 63 games winning 17 games and losing 21.

They have started the season well and sit just below us in 9th place on 7 points, just 3 points behind us.

Looks like we will definately be without Grant and Williams but hopefully KKH will be allowed to play so Iandolo will probably be the only change for Grant in the starting line up on Saturday.

Swindon to suffer a single goal defeat in front of 3,045 fans with 985 Town fans there.
