Hope they have better weather up there it's pissing down here

Very light pennine drizzle. Expect intermittent showers.

There was a theory that the tower blocks in Salford were the reason behind the belief that "it always rains in Manchester".

I suspect that Grauniad links still work on here unlike some other media outlets.

It is raining here by the way.

The new ground is akin to Colchester - soulless and in the middle of nowhere, with shit parking. Only positive is it’s three miles from home.

A shame the wealthy owners didn't support Bury and keep a real club in business!

We stopped at Trafford Park on the way up to the lakes on Sunday, we drove through Salford Lowrey smokey tops and past the "ahem" stadium, Chard Town has a better ground with bigger stands, their multi millionaire owners will get fed up when they find they cant buy promotion and will fall back down the leagues soon enough.

Can't predict this one at all. I'll be watching with a few beers and hoping for the win. Got the football bug back again this year after the euros and town takeover.

Will definitely be back at the cg this year. If it's dry I'll be golfing next week though.

2-0 Town....Payne, Simpson

I would go with the following line up...

Wollacott

Kesler Hayden
Conroy
Crichlow
Iandolo

Grant
Payne
Reed
Parsons
Williams

Simpson

Subs: Ward, Hunt, Odimayo, Gladwin, East, Dabre, McKirdy

Would like to see McKirdy given a run out behind the front two at some point (when we actually have a front two)...all his best moments have been when he gets into central positions whereas out wide he's kind of run around in circles without too much end result...
