Not a huge follower of MMA any more but remember watching Silva v Weidman live years back which ended in a similar way. Couldn't get off the sofa and put any weight on my legs for about an hour afterwards, horrible to watch. Have seen the video of this one

McGregor is a colossal bellend though so can only muster limited sympathy.

Strangely Chris Weidman suffered a carbon copy break of Silva’s a month or two ago.

Zero sympathy for McGregor. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone, but that doesn’t mean I have to feel sorry for him. He’s a dickwad

Saw bits - He was still screaming abuse at Poirier when on the floor! 'Come back and fight! Its only a flesh wound!' perhaps?
