Hopefully you meant to Hartlepool! (They win on penalties)

P.S. Maybe we can sign some southern non league players from Torquay now!

Oh well. A shame for Torquay, would have been a good trip.
A visit to the County Durham Riviera isn't tooo bad.

Bugger, Torquay away is a local one for me only an hour drive, fair play to the Monkey Hangers though.

Me too.

On two occasions holidays on the North Yorkshire Moors have fortunately coincided with fixtures at Pools.

Looking forward to seeing the half and half shirt guy and bloke in a dress again.

Nothing against Torquay though, and a trip to the Riviera would have been nice.

3 games stick in my memory from us vs the Monkey Hangers.

Scott Flinders playing a blinder and we got beat 2-0 at home in 2009 when Monkhouse scored on his return.

In 1985 we played them in a 12 o'clock KO on a Sunday in March, there was little to play for for both teams and we won 2-1 in front of just 2,215 with Hartlepool bringing down 3 supporters.

And of course the game in 2006/7 when Peter Brezovan saved 2 penalties on his Swindon debut in a 1-0 in the opening fixture up in the windy North East.

I mean hell of a moment for the Turkey(sic) keeper. But utterly pointless in the end
