It's stick the pin in the donkey time again folks, in what we laughably still refer to as the Man of the Match poll.

Like the team, I'm really just going through the motions here. At least the Curran comedians miss out this week.

Camp – 6
-   Handling didn’t look great before the first – Ball went through his hands in the first minute. Then a couple of good saves and claims. A lucky ‘foul’ then little he could do with the 4 goals that were interspersed with some decent saves. Lucky when Thompson (with his best contribution of the day) saved him when the ball ran across goal. Camp looked very slow, but Thompson saved him.

Caddis – N/A
-   Sacrificed in order to bring on Garrick. Presumably for an attacking option. Didn’t think he did anything wrong.

T Broadbent – 3
-   Slow, lumbering, out of position. Glad he was substituted

A Grant – 4
-   Worst showing of the season. Poor distribution before the game was lost. Gave away the one goal by playing player onside. Kept trying to be cute and got caught out several times.

Grounds – 3
-   Gave away penaly. Didn’t mark for second goal. Bloody awful.

Palmer – 3
-   We lost the midfield in the first few mins.

Lyden – 2
-   If he was fit then he wasn’t trying. Very poor game. Won nothing and lost everything

Payne – 4
-   Ran around and tried. But no one to play with.

Twine – 5
-   Two shots in the first half. One in the second which hit the crossbar and Smith scored from

Smith – 5
-   Scored a goal. Didn’t do much else

Pitman – 3
-   Won some headers in the first half. Nothing in the second before substitution

Subs:

Garrick – 5
-   Not a defender. Caught out for one goal. Looked better when up the pitch.

Thompson – 3
-   Saved one goal when he was trying. After that, he kept running up the field and jogged back. Fourth (I think) goal was his fault. Just ambled back when he realised he was beaten and out of position. One good game and nothing since. Getting worse every day.

J Grant – 4
-   Couple of dribbles. Didn’t really provide an attacking or defensive edge

T Omatoye – 5
-   He had a couple of decent touches. Not sure why he hasn’t had a chance. Not the worst player on the pitch, but not the best – They wore blue. Had one headed chance, but it hit him rather than him heading it.

Hope – 3
-   Gave us none

Probably Tyler. Took his goal well, unlucky to hit the bar in the first half.

Best of a bad bunch. He made several good saves and claimed all bar 2 crosses.

Smith should have done better with his first chance and delayed so long before shooting for his goal, that I thought the opportunity had gone. The rest of the game I thought he was poor. Ran into blind alleys and was mark out of the game by the defence.

Camp was the only one who even looked able to do the job he is paid to do, and then he would only score a 6 probably.

Agreed - Tyler Smith for me, just because he ran around and scored.
