May have even been an opposition keeper. But hey as I stated my grey matter could be playing tricks.

Stuart Nelson (the borrower) for Brentford. Early/mid-2000s I think.

Didn't have the penalty scorers on swindon-town-fc, but https://www.11v11.com/matches/swindon-town-v-brentford-22-august-2006-274387/ does. Good memory!

Ooooh. Having to put an outfield player in goal. That must have happened more often!

Andy Rowland went into goal a few times in the days before many subs were allowed.

Alan Mcdonald both played in goal for us and scored for us, seeing as we're scraping the barrel.

What a great day at Loftus Road that was... Well apart from my hangover.

Bob Menham scored a couple of penalties in 1900/1, that's it for Town keepers.

I think there was another one missing penalty scorers.....

http://www.swindon-town-fc.co.uk/MatchCentre.asp?MatchID=19871203 e: think the scorers might be harder to find for that though,

(Also thankyou for such an amazing resource, I often get lost in it for hours)

Think that would be the Bob Menham who played for Everton in the FA Cup final ?,  The great, or great, great grandfather of John Menham,  well known supporter of Town who up until recently never missed a game, home or away for forty years. Remember his father telling me he had the original programme from the game which was framed and hung from his bedroom wall for many years.  Unfortunately it had faded so much over the years it was virtually  unrecognizable.  You should have seen his face when I told him what the value of it was had it been in good condition !!.
Did manage to get him a copy of the original so at least he has got a readable version on his wall now.  In all the years I've known the Menham family I never realised he actually played for the Town though !!.

As did Jimmy Quinn and Andy Rowland.

Glad you enjoy it.  And you're right... I haven't found the details for that shootout yet... I think there are a couple of others I don't have as well.

That would have been amazing and would probably have been listed.
See at this link. Apologies if this has already been posted.
