And to think all those discussions about where the transfer money went - Lluongo, Gladwin, Byrne etc.
Well, we know now.

So do Barry, Standing, FA, EFL, inland revenue (though being a non dom it won’t matter) and everyone else with a passing interest.

The ownership court case isn't the only time he could be in court, That's why he wants to sell and fuck off out of the country ASAP

Probably sell 1000 @ £2 a go x 23 games = nearly £50,000.
In the old days when we paid actual cash at the turnstiles that was the preferred method of fiddling.

Easter Saturday in 1987 Swindon v Bournemouth top of the table clash where the attendance was given out as 14,500 but all sides were packed tomthe rafters. Check out the Townend below!

I had it on very good authority there were 3 crowds over 20,000 that season including this one.

I would say that you're correct as I was there that day plus the other games and it was obvious to all that the crowds announced were fiddled

And before that the Spurs game at the CG in 1980.
Probably way nearer 32,000 that day than the official attendance of just 26,000.
You hardly breath it was so jammed that day.

There were, I was in the Town End that day, turned up as the gates opened at 1pm and couldnt even get past about 1/4 the way into the Town End as it was so jammed that day. Way more than were at the games vs Arsenal and Wolves both of which were near the same attendance.
