Bit like the sort of goal we’ve been conceding all season.
It was quite a soft header from a soft cross with the keeper not making much of an effort to get to it....sounds just like it! TBF from this distance it was difficult to see fully.

From what I can see is that we have very good approach play but lack that final touch. Sounds familiar.
3-1 to Ipswich after a bit of pressure and a couple of corners not cleared.

Thats pretty much as I see it too and a weakness in defence caused by injuries to 2 key defenders today. Been a very entertaining match though TBF.

I remember mentioning it with regards to keepers in another thread but in general we do seem to outmatched physically in a lot of the youth games I’ve seen us play. No idea why.

Not sure how many youth games you've seen as to whether that's a representative sample but in relation to today's game, worth noting that Ipswich are a higher category Academy (Cat 2) than ours (Cat 3), and have won 8 of their last 10 league games playing at a higher level than our 18s do, so this was always going to be a bit of a mismatch. In that context, agree with PV thought the lads gave a good account of themselves and generally competed well.

Considering the gap between the teams it was a good performance by Town youngsters against a far more experienced Ipswich team.
We played some good passing football and quite swift in turning defence into attack.
A decent performance by them they can take credit for.

Fair fucks to him, did he play today in their win? EDIT: In answer to my own question, yes and played well it seems. https://www.herefordtimes.com/sport/19192291.hereford-fc-v-woking---fa-trophy-minute-minute-updates/
