Ha.
I don't remember doing this. In my defence - I did get through a litre of gin last night.

I have been interviewed by both, both are nice blokes. Vic has about 30 years on Roger so Vic would win hands down.
I always thought Roger was an arrogant twat until I was interviewed by him about MacMahons sacking and I was interviewed by him as a 13 year old the day after Swindon beat Arsenal in the LC in 1979.
Both times he was relaxed and talked me through what questions he was going to ask me so I could prepare and was very nice and polite to me.
I was pounced on by Vic post game when the Diamandis saga was going on and took me more by surprise so for that reason alone Stealth Vic would win.
I would add Shaaaaaaawwwwwwwwnnnnnnnn Hodgetts to the list too, as again I have been interveiwed by him a few times too and he would easily win in a battle royale between the 3, big and strong and more forceful in his approach.
SHAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNN FTW.

I'm surprised Shaun Hodgetts has stayed with local radio for 35+ years as he could easily have gone on to bigger things within the BBC and just like all of us he's STFC through and through.

I have no idea how you can do that. That's the alcoholic equivalent of 4 bottles of wine. That would finish me off. #lightweight

I remember Roger Malone and Trevor Brooking walking across the pitch into the Shrivvy to sit and commentate in the old seats above, probably against West Ham in Cup game. Malone got his usual chant and he just smiled and waved, Brooking had a big grin on his face They walked right past us.

Pretty standard for a quiet night in. The real drinking happens when I go out.

What about when we played the Gas in the late 80's and both Swindon and Rovers sang "we all agree Roger Malone is wan*er"

The wife has a penchant currently for gin and can easily down 2 bottles of Zinfandel followed by a bottle of gin and still be fine, on the merry side but fine. I now cant drink enough to get pissed so dont even bother, I drink to enjoy it not for the effect it has on me.

Roger Malones commentary of the 1990 Play Off final is a thing of beauty. How he manages to shoe horn Bristol City into it at every opportunity is impressive, along with his classic line "Owers before Foley...seconds before Foley" - you could almost imagine him taking a bow as he preened himself after that one. Even he got swept up in our brilliance though, with one piece of commentary just being pretty much our entire team being called to name after name in a flowing passing move. No other incidentals, just name after name.
He'd win a fight by some sort of under hand tactics I think.

Rovers fans used to sing it under the television gantry at Twerton Park every time they scored, so it would have to be edited out for the highlights on HTV.

The thought hated his City Bias and it was funny listening to both sets of fans singing together
