Well it worked on Saturday, so let’s try the same format.   I’m going for a 2-1 loss.

Looking at the games to come this week, I'd rather win Sat v Northampton than Tues against Lincoln. I know we don't get to choose, but winning Sat helps us much more than Tuesday. But following on the formula of repeating what went well yesterday I'm going to predict a 2-1 win for us and refuse to back it up with any kind of cogent argument or reasoning.

Lincoln cantered to victory at the CG, since when they’ve continued their good form and we’ve become markedly worse, so can’t see this being still a live tie by halftime. 3-0 or thereabouts as predicted by others seems to be a sensible prediction.

Thought we matched them quite well and were a tad unlucky to lose. According to their fans they’ve got injuries and are a bit leggy at the moment.

Brett Pitman will be in good company then😀 Let's hope Appleton decides to take the City job on Tuesday morning!

We could do with them being a bit leggy, heady and army.

I’ll go for a park the bus 5-4-1 formation (Pitman will touch the ball three times), 20% possession and a blood-and-guts 0-0.

That formation is a bit gung ho I feel. Up against a team like Lincoln a conservative 9-0-1 to give us an attacking option and keep them guessing.

Am liking the thread title format, and indeed the luck it brings.

Hopefully we will have a comedy sidebar on thread from a 2013 poster with 8 posts to their name for shits and giggles. "Call yourselves fans???!!!???"

Cant see past a tonking.  Hope 0-0, expect 2-0 loss.

Fiver on first goal inside tens mins.
