Keep seeing mention of our pitch being shit. What happened? Wasn't it quite good in previous seasons?
Its always been excellent, they relaid it during the last total football lockdown, but at the moment its in an awful state, easily the worst I have seen it certainly since Marcus Cassidy arrived several years ago.

Was trying to remembered Marcus's name, didn't he win awards last season? Has he just been furloughed or something, or is the shit pitch by choice to suit our playing ability? Can anyone solve the case?

I'd say lack of normal prep time plus a lack of funds Ben.

Not sure about prep time but I agree that lack of funds have probably a fair part to play in the demise of the pitch quality.

Seems a bit of a shame, but classic STFC backwardsness.

Apparently the normal relaying of the pitch last summer did not happen due to the uncertainties of the coming season so nothing was really done and then to cap it all there have been drainage problems since. I would think that Marcus Cassidy must be well p****d off as the pitches for the last few years have been excellent.

That’s gotta be 5-3-2 with wing backs right?

Seems like a 532 or Conroy sitting in holding midfield.
