I'm not watching but following BBC Sport at work. Saying most are pretty cheap wickets, so may not have changed that much.
Next test is on the same pitch I think.

Same ground, but it won't be the same pitch literally. Although they probably could play another test on this, there's nothing much wrong with it, just Pakistan showing the effects of conceding 800 on morale.

I've been critical of Englands style at times. But one thing you absolutely can not deny, is that any other test team in the world and this ends as a bore draw. Englands run rate is fantastic for test cricket.

Yep, despite the different in scores of the first innnings, England only batted for one more over than Pakistan did.

It's a perfect strategy for a dead pitch like this one. It's... got pros and cons on the spicier ones. On "any other team in the world and it's a draw" - here's Pakistan's home test vs Bangladesh two months ago: https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/bangladesh-in-pakistan-2024-1442203/pakistan-vs-bangladesh-1st-test-1442213/full-scorecardPakistan are real bad at third innings at the moment!

Pakistan taking the first test defeat well, they're playing the next test on the same pitch (I was wrong above - but don't think that's been done before) and have picked three front-line spinners, two part-time ones and one seam bowling all rounder. It's certainly brave.
England meanwhile bring in Stokes and Potts for Woakes and Atkinson.
Could be interesting.

Feel a bit for Woakes, I’m a big fan of his. I know his record abroad isn’t the best but I’d have still preferred him in over Potts.

I imagine none of the seamers are going to play all three games here. It's probably going to be a good one to miss.

Nice one. That'll be another double hundred for Root and Brook then.

Well, it was going swimmingly, and then all of a sudden it very much isn't. Sajid Khan played for Somerset last season and definitely wasn't this good...
