Think some got the Turnbull and Stephens mixed up from time to time...

Grant Hall must have improved some since we last saw him then. I thought he was gash.

He was our POTY when we first signed him and became our captain last season. IMO he was our best defender for years, the only problem was he had legs made of glass and was constantly out. He was doing well for Middlesbrough until he got injured again.

This match sticks in the mind for me, we were generally pretty good that season but safe to say we are not much of a cup team.

And there were a few who hated him - I was not one of them!
I don't remember any hatred levelled at Stephens back then but I could be very wrong. Turnbull on the other hand....

The Scott Cuthbert trajectory, as it's known.

I would have Turbull back here tomorrow ahead of all the defenders we have had play for us this season bar Conroy. Exactly what we need in the defence someone who wants to attack the ball in his own box
