Spain were quite successful with a 4-6-0 formation a few years back.  |

Indeed, you pick a formation for the players available, sometimes it works sometimes less so. Impossible to write a side off even before kick off based purely upon a formation. |

Bit like when he started a centre back up front, it worked for 1 game and that was it, so who knows, a centre back in midfield might work for today, although its unlikely he can last 90+ mins |
