Surely we have a youth player who could play? Better that than persisting with an injured Pitman. It’s not like he offers us much (if anything) as it stands.
We have Harry parsons as the only other recognised striker currently at the club, he is a small nimble striker but doesn't play the right role that we currently play. The only other option is to play with no striker at all but thats not how Wellens/Hunt/Wright like to play. Its not worth potentially ruining a youngster by playing him as a square peg ina round hole so early in his career. I fully understand where you are coming from but the harsh truth is that we sadly lack strikers at the club at all levels. |
