I went for Grounds. Odimayo a close second (which says something when he wasnt on the pitch long)
I did think of Kovar, as he didnt put a foot wrong and seemed a little more assertive (although that might be because he wasnt tested)
DJ did some really good things, but did most of his stuff in the wrong areas.

I went for Matt Smith again. DJ did improve but I thought Smith shaded it. Seems not many people agree though!

Plainly, Grounds is a very good addition to the squad.

Both very left footed. I think we could see a Grounds and Akin duo sooner rather than later. Baudry is not good right now.

It's funny how people often express concerns re a CB partnership with two left footers but seldom with two right footers.

How can we nominate as mom one of the two centre backs who between them were responsible for the goal we conceded in a 1-0 defeat? Having said that it’s difficult to find a nominee - possibly Donohue for me.

Fair point. Never thought about that. But, I guess being rarer, a left footed CB would always be the left of the two, whereas a right footer would have been asked to do both. At the top of the game, left sided CBs are rare and in huge demand.
