So because we're losing in the tin pot trophy with a competition winner at CB, RW should change the way we use our CBs and go out and get a kick out head it lump.
Not at all, I have said it since the Summer that I have felt CB is our weakest position, I stand by that. And you state that Curran is 6th choice, not when 2 of them are injured hes not and Odimayo isn't fully fit yet either so as it stands hes 3rd fit choice.

At the moment we don't have anyone that will die for the cause at least he had the scars to show for his comittment alone!
Nelson was poor in league 2 and doesn’t even get a game at that level now. No amount of commitment can make up for a lack of ability.

Does anyone actually know the deal with his contract arrangements? All I can imply from stuff on here is that Power knows his Dad, so has agreed to let his son have a squad place (and a 3 year contract) likely for peanuts. Doesn’t exactly seem to be a sensible approach to running a football club....
Nobody knows. Power/Jewell and Currans dad are all mates. They have horses trained by him i believe. We bought him from Southend i think? Why would we buy a squad player? Also no youngster has that length contract. You only have to see him play to know he is not a professional. Wouldnt surprise me if Curran Snr has something to do with the training ground plans given the stable work in the plans.

Good going forward at times. Laughably bad at the back.
Good result.

Indeed - it's a shame we can't just turn down the next game.

I'm not worried about CB's. Not sure we have anyone outstanding but any combo of Baudry/Conroy/Odimayo/Grounds/Fryers are good enough.
The problem as Wellens has mentioned is the midfield. We got away with Grant and Doughty as two a lot last year with the work rate of Yates to compliment.
Its a league higher and Grant can't bully the opposition in this league. Really need at least one, preferably 2 more all round midfielders before the window closes.

So how many CBs do you want? We literally bought one in last week. On the game, bar the disaster zone at CB and from set pieces it was fine. Certainly not going to start suggesting we change the way we play and stop using ball playing CBs and play through the thirds because we lost in the paint pot.
