Good win. Plenty to be very pleased about, particularly going forward. Few things to work on at the back but far more good than bad today. Plenty of MotM candidates which is a good sign - think M Smith at the head of the list although he did fade.

Good win and that was with us running on fumes at the end a bit.  Some legs will be hurting tonight but more minutes in them to build up our fitness.  Pitman could have done with an electric wheelchair by full time I think.  Several players still getting used to the team as well, plenty to be cheerful about in terms of us still having room for improvement.

4-2 sounds a good game, we were not in control for much of the second half but we won comforftably in the end.  Still not sure on the keeper

These wins at the beginning of the season are going to be massive as I think we are only going to get better and better.

And encouraging we are getting lots of goals from all over the pitch, four different scorers today

I think thats a bit unfair as with 10 mins to go....

Pitman chases the ball down in the corner, wins it and cuts inside and shoots but its too near the keeper.

He still had the beating of the defender after 80 odd mins.

I think that is the most 'clinical' I have seen Town in a while, with several very good finishes.

Midfield battled well. Matt Smith seems to go from pedestrian to deciding he wants to win the game on his own in little spurts.

We are still a bit suspect in defence and Kovar doesn't give me confidence. He doesn't command his area that well and doesn't look as if he is going to pull of any saves. Very calm and assured with the ball at his feet and looks as cool as a cucumber.

Donahue looked lost when he came on. Don't think Hunt knew were he was playing, which helped contribute to their second goal. (When the ball is in the net, Hunt visibly chastised Donahue)

Pitman lolloped around the field all game, but when the ball comes to him, he certainly know what to do with it. Also, lots of little flick headers.

I'm not writing Kovar off yet, but I've not seen anything from him yet that fills me with with confidence.
