Indeed I was.  Only low grade stuff, but I recall that even then I was frequently a cunt.

A bit, but mostly whilst I was at university in Reading.  I was several uni teams’ pet Ref.  Got taken to away matches if the oppo didn’t have their own Ref. 
Lots of club teas, I recall.  Best was at Sandhurst Officers’ Mess - the real deal!
