A little harsh on Ian but I would agree it seems Odimayo is our weakest link at CB today. We all know Ian isn't an out and out FB, more an advanced player. He will never be able to convert as a FB. He is so much better with Hunt or Caddis behind him.

As has been mentioned numerous times, Baudry may not be the most technical of players, but we always play better and look more assured/composed with him in the starting XI.

Still plenty to take from this in preparations for the League next week. Two things Wellens definitely is good at. Changing a game and bringing on the right kind of subs and also his bouncebackability after a loss, always tends to bring an improved performance.

Few tweaks, and our best defence, along with additions to come and we'll be alright. Still very positive about the season ahead.

Unfortunately he will as we have too many sick notes in Baudry and Conroy  plus Broadbent seems to not be in the frame

I think classing Conroy as a sick note is harsh - he’s been very unfortunate with 2 near career ending injuries.

extra cash is always useful
Do you get much prize money in this? Without the chance of bumper crowd I doubt there’s much in it.

Lloyd Isgrove.

That was my point fella. We don't need him. Johnny Smith is much better.

Wasn’t prize money scrapped until the semis last year? Or have I made that up?

Going through would only really be beneficial financially if you pull a big team away and all fans are allowed back in. Not likely.
