My ex has just returned a box of invaluable keepsakes and amongst them was a programme from the Town against Sporting Lisbon from 5/8/93. They were manage by Bobby Robson and included Luis Figo, a Costa and a Ramos.

Anyone got a recollection of this because I haven't.

Yeah they thrashed us 6-1 and we were terrible, an obvious gulf in class that day they dominated the whole game.

Luis Figo stolled accross midfield and scored 1 and set up a few others too, they played almost their entire first team.

From the station at Colchester
To the cells of Warrington
From the services at Leicester
To the slums of Northampton

We travel over England
And one day Europe too

Cos we all follow the Swindon
We're the famous Town End crew.

I seem to remember going. A very one-sided affair.

We got beaten! Unbelievable.

I'm assuming that Lisbon were an attractive opponent. Many there?
