How many can you have on a laptop at one time?

Reason i ask is, i have windows 10 on my laptop and want to play some old games on there, they dont work in the backward compatibilty mode.

Is it possible to install windows xp on the laptop also? Anyone know where i can get a free copy also?

What game is it? You can play most by compatibility mode/mounting a virtual drive.
