Virtually impossible. It would require a constitutional amendment (and therefore bi-partisan approval) which is doable if you want to relegalise alcohol, a lot more impossible if you want to allow a republican/democratic President to go for a third term. Not happening. |

Yup. Trump will have served two full terms, so can’t run for Vice President either. The only way you can do more than two full terms is if you inherit the presidency with more than two years gone of your predecessors reign. You can then be elected twice after that as president. So in theory you could do two full terms plus anything less than half of your predecessors reign. For context, LBJ inherited JFK’s term with the latter having just over a year left to serve. That means LBJ could run for president twice more after he inherited the presidency, so he could have ultimately served two full terms plus the year or so he inherited. As it happened, he did JFK’s remaining year and a bit, was elected for a full term after that, then decided against running for a second full term due to the Vietnam War. |

It won't work as he can't be VP as he's been a two term Pres. His only way is to repeal/amend the 22nd Amendment and be won't get the support of enough states to do that. |
