Not surprising though is it, Williams was very much 'one of the boys' rather than being a manager. Seemed to have pretty much zero authority and was very friendly with the players so would be surprised to find many that didn't enjoy it as was probably a pretty easy life and largely able to do what you want. |

Think that's being a bit unfair on the players, tbh, they've pretty much all said they enjoyed working under him because they developed so much working under him, because he is a very good coach (just not perhaps at the time able to translate that into being a good manager) |
