Quarterback. The Swindon Steelers American Football match held at the CG (in the 80s?). I think it was against Torbay? The most boring game I have ever seen at the CG. Any info or memories of it?

Nope. Never knew a game happened at the CG. Did train with Torbay for a while in the mid 80's before realising my error and returning to rugby.

A couple of blokes that I worked with back then played for the Swindon Steelers and were pretty good apparently.

I could never get into it myself.

I am in the small minority of people in the UK that like American style football.

Not sure it’s a small minority at all.

For example the NFL ranks 2nd or 3rd with Sky in terms of viewing figures by sport
