Dear all,

I am involved in some university research that is looking at sexuality in football and I would appreciate a few minutes of your time to share your thoughts on this subject. The survey is anonymous and can be found here:

Thanks in advance for your time.

Done.

I see the survey is Australian, so for the avoidance of doubt, "BHA" means Brighton and Hove Albion.

Coming out as gay in pro football is not a topic I have ever thought about in any depth.

After completing your questionnaire, I came across this article by Dave Kitson at the start of the season.  I thought it gave an interesting perspective from a straight footballer.

I appreciate your survey is to tap into the fans views on this.

Completed. I thought all football fans were asexual, & being a fan was an alternative to sex?

Correct.

Except for Brighton and any rural team west of Swindon, obviously.

Thanks to those who have completed the survey. It is now closed, with a new one open that follows on from the results - I will locate in this forum.
