For me, disco requires lots of booze. Never understood it at the time and still struggle to get the love of it. My bad I guess. New wave was more interesting as I got to see Dr martens and spikey hair in Walcot. Too young to join in.
Northern Soul helped inspire Justin Sullivan of NMA so it gets the ok here.

Plenty of booze and stood at the edge of the dance floor watching the birds dancing to Sandy Martins grooves at the Brunel Rooms and hoping I'll need something for the week end! Happy memories... |

Its written in genuine frontier gibberish! The lyrics have no meaning and are in no actual language, its an episode in writing words that sound like they should be words just to fit in the music, apparently. It was designed for Italians who have no knowledge of English to think the song is actually being sung in English! the only real words are "All right". Stangely enjoyable in a wierd kind of way. |
