Fantastic effort bringing 2000 fans and really looking forward to a big crowd and boisterous atmosphere from both sets of fans.if we get our football going we can be superb and tend to struggle against non footballing teams who like to kick lumps rather than a high tempo passing game.
Hope we both up and as you say may the best team win

Ah, you're only up the road ! With an old school cenner back now as manager the team has a more robust and physical approach now, and Newport for one certainly didn't bully us. That said, we're more than capable of playing football as witnessed at our match at SJP, when honours were even. With your prodigal sons returning up front, wouldn't be surprised if we set up defensively, adopt the more physical approach and counter. Hope not, your big wide pitch is for playing football.

Pretty much sold out now, with a few single seats left. Just the far corner of the Arkell's being held back, perhaps for walk ups?

Even my neighbour has been tempted to go out today. He swore not to support us again because we took on Luke McCormick.  I assured him that Benda is a better keeper.

Good post! We got bullied at Newport due to our injuries, suspensions and no prescience at front but did ok well beating Salford away. Yes we have a big superb pitch and a full county ground is very atmospheric

Is the capacity still 15,700? If we’ve sold out all the home sections and Exeter are only down about 1000 on capacity, that’s an unprecedented attendance for a league game for a long time.

Just shows what a bit of the feelgood factor can do.

About 13900 now I believe with the Arkells Stand and Bank seats taken out.

Alot of the Stratton Bank seats on the Nationwide Stand end were taken out to replace broken seats elsewhere.

Yeah, with Exeter still a 1200 short I reckon it'll be 12500

Tickets now taken off sale online. I guess they've kept a few back for walk ups, so a full house (should be around 13000 there) rocking us on. Can't wait.

Looking forward to this, going to be a decent crowd and hopefully good atmosphere too.

Well Exctera fans are convinced we have a sugar daddy and that we are inches away from going bust.

Typical lower league fans tbh, I never used to mind Exeter fans, they irk me now.

But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

Old Billy who casually walks up on match day to purchase his ticket will have a shock when he finds out there's none left. Bound to be a few.

Cheesy Power now a sugar daddy.

What is it about other clubs and us when we sign a few players?
