I've witnessed it many times with both Bristol clubs at home from the late 70's onwards but never heard of swinson fans playing up in Bristol. The attack by Rovers fans in Horefield was cowardly on innocent supporters not looking for trouble
There is always trouble in Bristol when we play them, the fact its not reported does not mean it doesn't happen. Anyway its pretty irrelevant anyway, bunch of mindless morons, even if I know a fair amount of them, with beer in their bellys they become immortal twats.

Remember going into the pub opposite the home end at the edge of the park, can't remember the year, probably 90's, got in there and recognised several Town Enders, kept quiet though, have been told that the pub has since been demolished.

I remember the Rovers game as that was a cock up by Wilts constabulary letting it go ahead 3pm on a Saturday knowing there was massive potential for trouble as both teams were near the top

We woundn’t have won today even if we had a fully fit team. Next week we should have Doughty and Baudry back, following game we will have Lyden back and by Exeter Fryers will back so things will rapidly improve. Factor in we will get a couple of new seasons and things will be all good again at the start of Feb.

Miners arms half a mile behind the old east end, coopers arms Ashton road and a few others in north street bedmister. No idea if they had a one arm washer up
