TBF it looked a lot worse last season later in the season, lots of tramline rutting but could be far worse.

Apparently, the Newport groundsmen paint the mud/sand green.

Don’t be fooled!

We've been lucky with poor pitches so far.
Newport in January was always going to be a problem even if they have had a new pitch laid off the back of the cup runs.
Just another test that a side looking at the autos should have the wherewithal to overcome.

If Romanski is the answer god knows what the question was! He's always split opinion amongst town fans but I don't rate him at all I'm afraid. Maybe better on the bench than a teenager but I'm not sure!

More of Gwent's finest in the town centre than locals.
Crossed over the crystal clear blue waters of the River Usk.
Sun is shining, sky is blue, not a cloud to spoil the view.
... but its raining in your heart?

No Doughty due to illness. Bench very inexperienced as you would expect.

Same as last week in terms of the bench strength then, hopefully we don’t need to make any subs again.
