Doughty instead of Baudry. We can’t risk him on their awful pitch it is a recipe for disaster, let him get fully fit this time.
I've no idea what the fascination with Reg is all about or is it a closed shop scenario on this forum where only a selected few know!

FWIW I would be the forum Sid James If you said Sid James instead of Kenneth Williams you’d be nearer the truth about me but it’s only cyber space after all.

As it’s Friday, Time for thoughts about tomorrow’s game. This will be a battle, due to the state of the pitch - this week’s rain and rugby tonight mean it will be tricky to say the least - and also Newport’s style of hoofing high balls at big strikers. A tough debut looms for REG, and if Caddis is unfit Reid at RB doesn’t increase confidence. As others have said, we shouldn’t risk any of the injured unless they are fully fit (Baudry, Caddis, Fryers etc) as the risk of a longer absence is too big. On the positive side, Newport are only mid table so not as formidable as last year - too many draws. They have a tight defence but haven’t scored many, also have 3 games in hand. Also they have lost very few at home. If it’s played - postponement could help as it would give some time to get the injured fit again, I would be very happy with a point tomorrow. I think we could have our first 0 - 0 of the season.
