They usually book the room until, I think, 10pm and the last 30 minutes will allow for photos with Simon before we're kicked out.

That's what the provisional plan stated anyway.

Might have to be late for work

Ah, the joys of not knowing what I'm working more than a month in advance. Balls.

Brilliant evening. Simon was hilarious and the stories he told were top notch. The Tehoue one though.... Jesus!

Obviously I want there last night but I often wonder what PdC was supposed to have said to the Frenchman that was so bad that the racist card was played by him against PdC and the club.

It did get all hushed up and never got out in public.

What's really intriguing is that he told that one no problem, but wouldn't do the Benyon one.

Its a bit like Super Hans not wanting to go back into his own party.

It wasn’t an Easter egg unfortunately, it was a mug with some sweets in it 😄

I thought he was never going to give it to you, stood there for 10 mins with your hand on your heed..  Cheesy

Thanks again to those who made it to the live event last night.

Simon played for Peterhead (Aberdeenshire) the night before and was on an early-ish flight from Glasgow to Bristol the next day for his short stay in Swindon. Quite an effort!

Think he provided value for the £5-£7 entrance fee.

That’s why more people need to join STFC-OSC so they can organise more events like this Clap
