The emphatic nature of seeing the net bulge is great.
But a gentle ripple is just as good.

Hunt tries a cross/shot from deep and it goes well wide. Great break by Doughty then.

You’re right though. Hunt’s been disappointing this half. Doughty probably our most influential player. Yates has been working extremely hard. Slightly sketchy half, but Grimsby have looked nervous and under pressure from their crowd.

From the fishy forum...

Quote
Swindon are quick coming forward. You can see why they're top.  They don't give you a second on the Town not so much.  Swindon go down too easily in my opinion.

Trash, utter clueless trash
No movement, no idea, no confidence

Can see why swindon are top though tbh. Look solid and compact off the ball, first to the second balls too. And with a poacher like Doyle, don’t need to create much to score as he puts most chances away.

Swindon don't hang about. And they've score again.  Jesus, that's the difference.  Wasn't a great shot but when you on a winning streak you have a pop and it gets a  deflection

They are everything we are not. No movement no passing slow closing down constant high balls to Hanson. They get the ball they have time and space to play it. We get the ball there's three Swindon players closing us down with no Town player to pass to.

2 lucky goals for Swindon re deflections but easily deserve to be ahead, Interesting stat on ifollow  Town tackles won 40, Swindon 89, shocking considering we have a midfield full of workers without particularly great skill,

Oh lord iFollow have switched off at half time. They don't often do that, but when they do it's a pleasant surprise if it comes back on before the hour mark...

Great ball from Fryers to Yates who finds Doughty and he puts a low cross, out for a corner to Town.
