I used to go to speedway a lot but just drifted away. I actually watched the 2 legs with Wolves and it was great.
The rain was slashing down at Wolves on Wednesday but the home leg yesterday Swindon bossed it. I think it took Wolves until the 7th or 8th heat to record a race win.

I used to go to Speedway with my dad when I was a kid. Loved the smell, the crowd and the racing. And Swindon were always pretty good. When I moved to Scotland I was friends with a kid next door who was a Rangers and Glasgow Speedway fan so we had a mini Speedway rivalry.

Not been for years now.

If any of you TEFERS was interested in watching the Speedway tomorrow on BT sport, it's been postponed due to the weather and will now be on Tuesday night at Ipswich with the return schedule at Swindon on Thursday with a big crowd expected. Hopefully so of you lot will turn out to support the Robins

Used to go regularly in the early 70s.
Can remember walking there from Moredon, with a few of me mates, via the Fox and Hounds "offy" for a bottle of Strongbow. From Haydon wick it was all fields and more than once farmer Tanner blasted warning shots from his 12 bore as we cut through his cornfield. Always used to sneak in the cheap side by standing on an oil drum then climbing over the wal ,sometimes to be chased by a whitecoat. Very unusual for agro at speedway but it "kicked off" with Exeter fans once, something to do with Ivan Maguar(spolling) being a bit of a cunt I believe.
Sorry for the ramblings, I am begging to sound like Reg Smiley
Happy days and good luck to the Robins this week.

Yup.

1/40 on Bet365 which says it all in a 2 horse race.
