Yeah we were way better 2nd half when Doughty came on, should have been a draw but for Yates header going over from 3 yards when he connected too well.

Difficult place to go and win, or even get a point from.

Zakuani looked ok at the back and Grant was immense again.

Was always going to be tough.

The good news: Results around us went our way again. Of the teams in the top 6, only FGR got 3 points today.

More good news... I'm out on the lash next week. 3 points in the bag.

I've given the team a lot of praise but that for me was the most annoying performance this season from us.  Completely disjointed with no pattern.  I can accept Newport bettering us with a game plan, but we allowed that game to happen and a couple of players who have performed well were at fault.  Isgrove provided them the opportunity to get into position for the second goal, which was annoying enough, but he was trying to be too flashy while wearing Ice Skates for most of the game.

Need to get back to what we were doing a few weeks ago, Wellens needs to rattle a few cages today, then put the arm around them in the following week to build them up to having confidence on the ball
