Randomly I was looking at the 1993 World Cup statistics earlier. Johnny Wilkinson was leading points scorer with 113 including 8 drop goals!! I was just thinking you don't see many Drop Goals these days do you?

Too true, it seems to have gone out of fashion.

Indeed if the French had tried a few more when in position on Sunday, the Welsh may have needed to score again after their last minute conversion.

You might want to check the authenticity of that site.... there wasn't a WC in 93 and JW would have been too young even if there had been.

No idea why I wrote 1993, I meant 2003!!

PS it was Wikipedia, which I am sure is accurate, its just the combination of my brain/typing hand which is off kilter!
