FT 0-1 to Town, ground out a result in the 2nd half, Doyle my MoM followed by Grant and Yates.

Not a convincing win, but a win it is. That'll do.

Any win is a good win.
Injuries a bit of a concern, but we'll cope

Sounded as if we ground out the 2nd half but equally its good to see us being able to do that

Be interesting to see how the squad possibly rotates now, good to see us having a strong bench.

10 games in is where you can realistically start to make an informed assessment.
20 points of out 30, the better team in 9 out of those 10 games.
Very encouraging, we will be in right in the mix for the top 3

From the Cambridge Official Twitter. The U's made to work very hard by a classy and tough Swindon outfit, who edge it through Jerry Yates' first half goal at the Abbey. Attendance was 4,443 (736 Swindon fans)

Strangely, probably our most encouraging result. Didn’t play well, could have scored a few and dug in.
The sort of performance Reg usually says we need.

Just a bit of a worry that injuries might threaten to derail our progress. Ballard and Jayewotsit longer-term, Baudry and Lyden out, Anderson maybe a doubt now. You wouldn't want to lose too many more of our first choices, and we're not even into the tough months yet.

Good result, not a great performance, became a little passive in the second half and looked tired.
Isgrove sub was well timed by Wellens as he'd seemingly allowed himself to get wound-up. I'd imagine a mix of frustration with his own performance and being pulled back several times when looking good for a counter.
Doyle worked his socks off upfront and could have had a couple on a better day.
For as scrappy as it was, they really only had one good chance and we had three or four.

Absolutely... we'll need a few more before season's end.

I always go by top and bottom rarely changes after then. It gives you a good idea how well or bad the season is going to be.
