We are thinking of getting one of these google or alexia type thing bobby things. So as you can deduce we need some help and advice please. WiFi is via BT FWIW. Recommendations and or advice be greatly appreciated.

Depends what you're using it for.
Kitchen/Lounge primarily for music/radio - the Sonos One is great - only slight issue is its voice recognition can play up some times so it won't respond. Sound wise, brilliant value for money.
Bedroom for basic shit - just get the Amazon Echo Dot

My friend has a google thing which he shouts ‘hey Google’ asks questions and plays music from Spotify, also has a remote gadget for playing outside. We ostensibly want this kind of arrangement.. |
