Because all streets in Swindon are paved with gold!! I will lay it on the line, Milton Keynes has more going for it then Swindon.
Having lived away from Swindon for the last 18 years I can say that Swindon is by no means as bad as many people make it out to be, there are a lot worse places to live, I personally think Milton Keynes has little going for it but thats just my personal opinion, as we are all entitled to.

Parity at best and that would be pushing it.
Couldn't help but ponder on the irony of going past the very grand Conservative Club building surrounded by a sea of empty retail units and Eastern European enterprise.
That's Bletchley though, err not Milton Keynes.

Milton Keynes itself is a sprawl of social housing estates separated by dual carriageways and linked by numerous unappealing underpasses. Lots of retail parks though which makes the people happy. Or possibly not depending on preference.

Agree, got family there and it’s a pretty decent city. Got a lot of stuff to do entertainment wise, masses of green spaces.

Then again I can look at it without rose-tinted glasses as I have zero link to Swindon apart from football

Milton Keynes is a town.

When it boils down to it, everywhere is a shit hole.
I like the one I live in.

Even Wellens taking the piss out of a massive stadium that looks empty with hardly any fans even if there are 7k in there.

I know it's a big stadium, and people in glass houses... But the stadium is really taking the piss out the fan base.

guess they're all sat in the same stand as the cameras

The move doesn't seem to have increased their fan customer base very much.

How are games already kicking off and the players are only just coming out?

Great move down the left, crossfield pass from McCourt finds Anderson who passes to taylor in the box and his pass back to Doughty who hits it with power but at the keeper, easy save in the end, great move by Swindon.
